Morning Tesco bashers!
Have decided to bite the bullet, and try to join in more, not just posting the few and far between bargains I find:eek:
Anyhow, with having 4 small kids and a full time job, have to admit I am quite lazy putting my receipts in the price checker, last night I finally got round to it.
Had 3 receipts back already, just wanted to post some bits that compare, incase this helps anyone?
Receipt 1 Krave cereal 650g T £3.99 A £3.88
Receipt 2 Cow and Gate steamed meals T £1.49 A £1.47
Pom Bear crisps T £1.39 A 1.30
Frubes yoghurts T £2.00 each or 2 for £3.00 A £1.00
Goodfellas pizza both pepperoni and margharita 100% free T £2.68 A £1.00
Catherdral city cheese T £3.98 A £2.00
Receipt 3 O2 top up N/A..... Don't know how I got this:eek: I have a contract phone and have never bought a top up:rotfl:
Oh and apparently Asda doesn't sell individual muller corners:rotfl:
Hope this is of some help x0 -

Hi everyone,
Had a fab shop saturday getting lots of £1 clothes for me and DDs, only thing is I forgot OH was away last time they did this so kept how long it took under his radar. Firstly he was not very happy how long I was at the first Ts, I then came home to pick up DD3 and take her somewhere and could not resist popping into the other Ts so when i finally got home after several hours her was not very happy.
And to make matters worse when he saw me bringing in lots of things on hangers he was even more grumpy that I was filling the lounge yet again, only got it cleared from the last sale about a week before xmas.
Anyway he "banned" me from MSE for the weekend.
Not in a nasty way but I knew I had better not make him any more grumpy. So just lurked a couple of times over the weekend to make sure I didn't miss anything big.
For any locals FB seemed not to have put everything on the £1 sale rails downstairs I was lucky to find some stuff mixed in upstairs still. Seems to be AW11 jumpers, cardis and SS11 coats, cardis and both for short sleeved/sleeveless shirts/blouses (some have tie waists) or summery tops. Also found some jeans but not right size for me they were AW10, some that were SS11 were going through for £2. Some of the AW11 summer tops I scanned last monday and they were only half price but now scanning £1 glad I waited.

Poor HappyChappy, he shouldn't post his price checks on here. He gets so much grief, love him!!0

Price check in - goodfellas pizzas still working (now got 16 in the freezer but still managed to ahve a go at my OH for eatign a cheese one last nioght (those are for the kids!!!) instead of the pepperoni ones that I got for him. He looked at me like I was mad and said but there are loads left!!!!
Note the Cathedral City Mature 350g cheddar did not price check as now on BOGOF so compares with ASDA price x2 ie T £3.98 and Asda £4 - but having said that in Tesco its BOGOF so I did get 700g of cheese for £3 or 4.28 a kilo sounds good to me
16!!! Had to rearrange my freezer for the 1p BBQ stuff couple weeks ago, I can't even fit one box of 2 in.
Hoping it might still be good for tomorrow and cook them straightaway and then we can have pizza for tea. As we are being very MSE tonight and going out for a new menu offer at our local marstons pub. 3 course meal for £6.95, a very late valentine treat. :rotfl:0 -
Just wanted to add, it's worth signing up to your local Marstons for deals as both me and OH did it and we have had lots of free drinks vouchers from them. If it's a pint one I drive and have a coke and OH gets 2 pints free, a very cheap evening. :T0
