Glad to hear Mr 3dogs is comfortable. :A Tell him he's got some cracking cricket to look forward to this summer :T

Make sure you look after yourself too 3dogs :A

We are both really looking forward to the cricket this summer - might make it a plan to get to a county match and a T20 ........ possibly a test match too
sending hugs to 3dogs and mr 3dogs.
I know a bit of the decision you have to make about the dogs, my late DH and I had a similar decision to make about ours because he wasn't able to deal with her as she pulled a lot and he wasn't able to walk far with her but she needed a lot of exercise and he didn't think it would be fair on her losing out on the running.
We decided the best thing short term was to build her a run in the garden (filled most of it!) so DH could take her out for short periods to burn off some energy and also meant that he would be slowly building up his strength. I used to come in after my shift to find them both fast asleep on the sofa with the dogs head on DHs stomach facing his face, she always slept like that with him :)
We also had a few people who could call in a few times a week to take her out to run off a good bit of energy so that helped a lot.

Hope you get things sorted with them and I know whatever the decision it'll be the right on for all of you. Just wish I lived closer cause I've done this for several neighbours who have been in your situation. Thinking about you.

Thanks hun :A Someone also pm'd me suggesting the Cinnamon Trust who look after dogs when owners ill - thanks for that too :A In fact I have had such lovely helpful and supportive pm's ..... I have replied where I could but get the feeling I haven't replied to one or two as other things got in the way, but I have read them all and thank you one and all for getting in touch ............... you are all wonderful :A :A :A :A

Well, I have been moving furniture since 10 pm and finished at 2 pm  It entailed taking everything out of Mr 3Dogs' wardrobe and our 6 drawer chest, taking everything from under the bed, taking full drawers out of chest, moving the bed out of the way as much as I could, moving the empty wardrobe and then the chest of drawers frame, put the drawers back in the chest of drawers and drawers in the bottom of the wardrobe, then put his clothes back into his wardrobe, throwing some out as I went, and putting the bed into it's new position. Putting my bedside cabinet by bed and Mr 3Dogs' cabinet in corner out of the way as no space for it at moment. All that, and Molly 'helping' me all the time ;)

I still have to move 'the pile' from one corner, empty my larger wardrobe, move that wardrobe to where 'the pile' is now, put clothes back into it, and sort through the pile, throwing some out and finding space for the rest - not a small job, but, after tonight, I know that I can do it. Mind you, I have to see what I feel like in the morning after all that hard work

Just having a whiskey to unwind, and cool off , and then off to bed

    Night Night guys :A

  • Back up from bed and i thought id tuck everyone else in with a "night night, sleep tight, dont let the bed bugs bite!"

Absolutly dreading the morning. Have an appointment at 8.30 with my dd's principle to discuss her teacher and how she is getting on. We have had some problems with her keeping up in school and when i ask the teacher what kind of things she is behind in, i get the reply of "EVERYTHING"! I would completely understand this if she came home and couldnt do the homework but she knows how to do it, just she needs alot of encouragement to do it :( (sometimes ends up in a shouting match between me and her and shes only 7 lol) On friday her teacher ended up taking her out of class at home time to me and get within a few inchs of my OH's face and very ignorantly told him how we were to have her in school for 9am, not 9.05! (yes she was late by 5 minutes on thursday and friday and i felt awful!)

Golly, im stressing out BIGTIME! :(:( Gonna be another long night for me! Night night folks! x

Have you tried a post on the I wanna buy it or do it board. Probably doesn't get as many hits as this thread (!) but may be worth a try.

Or consider hire instead of buy? - although this can still be pretty expensive

Are you sure you want your OH to go to a party dressed as Jack Sparrow? - has to be the most shaggable Disney character ever.
