Just a quick question for all you real pros here. I have a till spit for £6 off £40 and a clubcard mailing for the same - do they work together (I know I would have to spend £46 and it would be a struggle, but there MUST be stuff I could stock up on, no more washing powder or softener though, I must have a couple of years worth and no more sotrage for that sort of thing!).
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

Morning all! So cold and dark!:(

Didn't go to T's afterwards as was fiddling around with my phone trying to upgrade it and it took forever! Not to mention, nearly bricking it! All is well now but back to square 1!:(

Got loads of catching up to do but mum got DTD on Jelly tots yesterday. Not sure what the actual offer was but she effectively got them for FREE! and a goldie!:T this was at a store that are ALWAYS on the ball, so hopefully someone can find some!

    See you guys later!

so which group was right? It was those that guessed female! :D

Dunno where I'm supposed to have said I was male! I'm absolutely certain I never said that, nor would I, and I can't find in any of my previous posts where it might have been misunderstood so can only assume those who thought they saw it where perhaps under the influence of too much DTD'd wine :rotfl:

Morning, I have offered to take my Mum round Tescos to show her the ropes re glitches, DTD JTD Mocs etc. but she says she cant be bothered and she wonders why her shopping costs so much!! She thinks if something is "cheap" there is something wrong with it!!! its a good job I don't take after her!!

Today or tomo is going to be my mums first visit to T doing it the glitches way and is quite excited about it xx

e@stbourn£ seafront is closed today (not sure how long for) due to the marathon (didn't want you to go and then be disappointed)

I'm cut from the same clothe as my mum def bargain hunter but as for my MIL
For years I have suggested shopping at aldi/lidl as so much cheaper (btw tesco glitching is way beyond her)
Well she finally did last week and got a trolley and a half for £44 and was amazed by it
    Some people eh?
Last time we visited she had 3 bottles of 21 wash comfort within 2 weeks she had used all of it - her response when I questioned her well I do a lot of washing! She lives alone! Seriously how can she use so much - no wonder she goes thro a washing machine ever 2 years
I have of course taken her some of my stash of comfort pure etc but it does bug me
Anyone else have family members like this?
Also she says she never finds good whoopsies like I do - well if you shop at 10am what do you expect - she's retired so could shop at anytime !
Families eh? Glad I'm like mine rather than my OH's lol
    Xxx

lol...think we have the same MIL.....mine doesnt like 'cheap' shopping...very proud lady and seems to think that if she bought reduced items then all the neighbours would know!!! At Xmas she was buying my 2 girls a Baby Annabel each and it took me an age to convince her to get them from Toysrus where they were 3for2 so she could give her great niece the other one!!!

My mum and sis are quite similar...they always say theyre jealous of my stashes, but refuse to do the ground work themselves.....i always say 'if it was as easy as just phoning Ts and asking them to send me a cheque for £500 this month instead of me going to the trouble of coming instore to get DTDs and glitches, then I would happliy do that - BUT its not that easy so you have to get off your butt and go get the bargains!!!'.....they still cant be bothered!!!

My sis lives 2 mins away from an extra and does her normal shop there....told her all about SSM etc ...shes still not bothered to do it!!! I just leave them to it now...i dont offer my stashes to them - they have more free time and ability to get to Ts than me and I manage ok - if they cant be bothered then tough!! I share my glitches with my elderly neighbours instead :)
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!
