I was the BG on Grabbit way back in 2004 but in 2007 my OH was diagnosed with cancer and died 6 short months later. It devastated me and I baled out of MSE to sort myself and my much changed life out. There were more important things if you know what I mean...

But I resurfaced and resumed my post as Grabbit BG last year which is when I met you lot :)

Thats awful redfox :( glad you decided to return and i am glad i found this thread. It's like my big cyber family on here you included. :D

By the way goodmorning folks. Throwing it down here and a lot colder :( turned heating off on thursday to save money :) looks like it could be going back on

Don't get the Lakeland cheese now to price check against Asda and redeem the price drop voucher as it has gone up in Tesco...

Cathedral city is the best one!

    £3.98 Tesco
    £2.00 Asda

Use £1 off voucher makes a 350g cheese £1 in total!

Think there's a fair few wrestling with that one. I usually shop on a Friday and haven't done it yet because I haven't had time to work out "the list" :o. Need to get a move on or it'll be beans on toast for Sunday lunch. Will probably cop out and head to Morries for a couponless, jtdless, price-flop voucherless shop to give my frazzled brain a rest.

You might have just persuaded me too, I always do a proper shop on Sunday but I don't actually think I need anything,I've already got the joint out the freezer. I've whoopsied all my veg already for 6p's and 20p's:Tand I'm just thinking am I going just to use my vouchers, I could go tomorrow but then my £5 off will be out of date, Decisons, decisions;)

morning everyone! Cold and wet today....and my tyre blew on my little pap-pap yesterday which cant be replaced as the wheel spring has snapped (which is what speared and slashed the tyre)..so cant get it fixed until Monday...so doubt they'll be any Ts for me today :( It took RAC 3 hours to come out to me to tow me home - was shocked at the service...me thinking of changing to AA instead!!!

Was on my way to 2nd Ts when it happened, so no £1 clothing bargains for me (was nothing but carp in the 1st store) ....but I'm thinking positive....why pay £1, when hopefully in a few weeks they'll all be 4p ;)

Redfox...sorry to hear about your OH, but glad you made the decision to come back - I agree that you do a fab job and keep us all in check!!! Keep up the good work!!! And my vote goes for male...not sure why, just a feeling :)

3dogs - loving the cheer-me-up drawings for Mr 3dogs..hope it helped a little! Sorry to hear about you possibly rehoming Bessie as well...I agree with the other poster who said Mr 3dogs might feel different once he's back in his own surroundings, but whatever you decide, it will be for the best, and you need to make sure you and Mr 3dogs are as well as can be, without any extra pressures :)

Magicowen - the poem you had for your grandads funeral was very sweet, had me in tears...i hope you can focus on the future and keep yourself busy :)

To everyone else needing hugs and best wishes.....have lots and lots from me :)

And to those wanting a way to bump up a spend to use the £5 off coupon, why not try the duracell batteries? All the ones I've seen are in the duracell promotion boxes, which have a huge 'BOGOF' sign on the box pre-printed by Duracell, so it doesnt matter if Ts remove the SEL, if they're still in the box, the BOGOF sign is still there!!!

Oh, I found some of the BBQ lamb burger thingies in Ts yesterday....thinking they would scan at 1p and didnt have time to price check...they went through as per the SEL at £1.50...so took them back for a swift refund!!! Not sure if all the BBQ stuff is scanning correctly now, but just beware!!!!

Right then...off to have a nosey on the main grabbit board and see if Boots website is back up and running....then off to do some Megablocks building!!
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!

Anyone had a trout say the coupon is for spend £4 or more and you've only spent £3.98?

    Morning all
I'm going to brave using my SsM vouchers today as I think a fair few of the laundry offers finish today, will report back later.

    Quick question
I'm not being greedy and am happy with the coupons I've got but does SsM not recognise your IP address or does it allow your OH use their Facebook account and do the whole mission again and print the same coupons again?
GRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED

Please press the thanks button when someone has helped!

They always do that with the cheese, I usually pick up the cheapest value cheese spread or slices to bump it over.
