Newbury scheme

Hi there
I've been looking at this scheme which I believe is due to be released soon. From all the literature it looks like the maximum house price will be 500k but I've spoken to a sales rep at a Taylor Wimpey development who said 200k was their maximum.!
I realise all the details haven't yet been released but I wondered if anyone knew if the criteria/details are likely to be variable between developers and developments?
Many thanks

There are very few details, but the Sales Exec is wrong. It is definitely up to £500k.0

You might be getting confused with the site and the scheme. It can be plausible that the developer with a Firstbuy properties can have a value of £200k there only on one site, on another site it might be £350k or even £500k. The government scheme allows up to £500k but it is up to the developer which class/size of properties which it classes as Firstbuy and would most likely be the cheaper ones.
What is certain is that it is a complete waste of tax payers money and dangerous to the buyer.:exclamatiScams - Shared Equity, Shared Ownership, Newbuy, Firstbuy and Help to Buy.
