How much I have paid off on my mortgage?

My fixed rate mortgage is coming to an end so I am looking around to see what is out there but I am struggling to work out how much my new one would be - given that I have already paid some of it off.

The deal that I am currently on is a capital and repayment, fixed at 3.79%. Is there a formula that I can use to work out how much is remaining?

Thanks...

The simplest thing to do would be to call up your mortgage lender and ask them for the balance.

Bear in mind that it takes 6-8 weeks to remortgage so the actual balance at the time will be less.
