Just had £60 taken out of my bank account by a company WWW.YOUR-MONEY.TV . I have never heard of them but somehow they have managed to take this out of my bank account. Does anybody know who they are?? and how I can get my money back????? I am panicking now that they can get into my account and take what they want. Help please !!!!

  • A quick google search suggests that they are loan brokers (and disreputable ones at that). Have you applied for a loan recently?

    I've been Money Tipped!
Contact your bank immediately and tell them that you have not approved the transaction and it is fraudulent. They will investigate and unless the company can prove you authorised the transaction then the bank will have to give you the money back.
Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!
  • I would ring your bank immediately and ask them to block your card, and to send you another one (if the company has your long card number and card info, they can/may keep taking money.)

Have you had any calls lately where you have given your card details over the phone? My grandfather had a telephone call last year off someone "selling insurance" took his card details- next thing a £50 charge showed up on his account. Contacted trading standards- was a company doing a fiddle.

So I suggest you contact trading standards too, and let your bank know your doing so.

Pedantic maybe, but is the word 'robbed' rather than 'scammed'?

Anyway, what did the bank say?
