May sound like a dumb question, but if you wanted a cleaning job, would you still have to go through 'interview' the process.

Usually yeah, but not like a do a 20 minute presentation on how you clean the loo in front of a panel of 5 suits type interview, more like an informal chat. Its really depends on the company though.:A:A:A:A:A:A0

Of course - AN interview process, yes, not the same as you would for an office job though, sitting there in a suit answering questions for an hour.
One of the hardest roles I've had to fill was our cleaner. saw loads of people and they were all weirdos in one way or another, until we managed to get a recommendation from another local offices about their cleaner. Odd as I've nothing against cleaners - i've done cleaning myself in the past - but really didn't want any of those people in.Cash not ash from January 2nd 2011: £2565.:j
