Advice needed!!!
We are shortly going to have to move, long story can't go into it now.
We live in rented accomodation and claim HB. My problem is:
How do we fund the move??????
2 options as I see it.......
No 1. Take out a loan for £2000 over 3 years.
No 2. Use my overdraft facility which stands at £2700?????? which would work out to be the cheapest in the long run. (on the account but not being used at the moment)
We have a loan we took out almost 3 years ago which has 18 months to run, its at a fixed rate 0f 7.9% I really do not want to pay this off and take out a bigger loan over a longer period....been that way before.....
We would hope, by doing quite a bit of the move ourselves to keep the costs as low as possible, but we will have upfront payemts of £1000 to meet come what may......there is a local remover you can hire either by the hour or on an estimate, they moved us the last time we moved and were very good.
We would be moving out of county around 80 miles, but it is feasible that we could do the move in a day as long as we have most of the stuff packed before they come, would just get them to pack glass and china, of which we do not have so much now.
Your advice would be greatly appreciated.
