CCJ not showing on credit report

Hi,
I'm new to posting and normally find the answer to anything by searching previous posts but im really stuck on this one!
I have been in a debt management plan with CCCS for about 6 years. In 2007 Natwest initiated proceedings in Telford County Court for repayment of a loan and overdraft. I duly completed the admission response form and returned it. And never heard another thing from the court. However a few years later when I needed to reduce my monthly DMP payments through CCCS I was told I could not because of the CCJ. I accepted that the court must have contacted CCCS instead of me and thought nothing more of it.
Now I am trying to apply for a variation and I decided to check my credit report for details of the CCJ. Low and behold no CCJ recorded. I found an old copy of the admission form and made sure addresses etc were correct which they were. I then found out that it may be removed after 6 years - only 5 years have passed since I returned the response form. Having had another look at the credit report I realised that particular debt doesnt show there AT ALL even though the Natwest credit card I was also repaying through the DMP does show.
Im very confused as to what this means and of course im thinking yey I can forget about it now so can anyone help me think logically? LOL

Have you only checked one company?
I'd suggest checking all 3 so you can see if it shows on one of the other ones hth.0 -

Thanks for the advice! I checked just now on callcredit, experian and equifax via checkmyfile.com and again clear for CCJs and no mention of the debt at all. weird or wat!0 -
If it exists, then it will be on the official register of judgements.
Here: http://www.trustonline.org.uk/
On your credit reports, you need to make sure that any address the court may have had for you when it was made is listed as a previous address when you apply for your report. Otherwise things that do exist can sometimes not show.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

I love you guys you're so knowledgable!
Ok so I checked trustonline and selected england and wales judgements (as it was apparently telford county court) and there is nothing registered!
Not to be really annoying but what does this mean for me?0 -
First I would talk to CCCS. If they refused a decrease in payments on that debt due to a CCJ, then surely they must have some proof or reason they think a CCJ exists?
If they can provide detail of a judgement that even the registry trust search somehow missed, then you can carry on and apply for a variation.
If they can't, then presumably there is no valid reason why they couldn't unilaterally reduce your payments if appropriate?Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
