WARNING TO ALL..... i started using https://www.cbfsms.com i thought it was great! ... at first .... ...then all the people i had sent the free txt to started to recieve strange txt messages saying they had a voice message waiting for them and to call a certain number to listen to the message .. after some investigating i found this article

For people abroad i use https://www.sendsmsnow.com (just type `hi` then send, as it will tell you if the providor can send it, it saves having written out a message only to realise that it cannot be sent)
