Pay creditors or learn to drive to get a job what would you do?

If it was me I would learn to drive. Yes there is no guarantee of this getting you a job but surely it enables you to widen your search and possible apply for jobs were a license is a job requirement.0

Yeah I was thinking that, but if it goes wrong I won't even be able to make token payments to creditors as I will receive no JSA0 -

Yeah good thinking, hopefully it wouldn't cost that much, I believe its cheaper if you buy lessons in bulk. Its an option.0 -
If ths not do-able, I would still learn to drive and tell creditors the payment will stop as my JSA has stopped and you will commence when you get a job. However that's me, you have to decide for yourself!

I'm going with a mix of both. It depends where you live but for me I'm in the countryside with no reliable public transport, if I could drive the doors of employment would be much more open as for now it's very restricted. Could you be insured as a learner on your partners car as you could end up having to pay less on driving lessons? You can find theory info online as well as information sheets etc on maneuvers and driving skills, my instructor basically read off sheets like that the whole time. And then spend what ever is left on your debts?0

Something like that would be sensible and I could do but its all or nothing, I'm not even allowed to repay my parents the 150 they lent me for rent when the housing benefit was messing about, throwing my 3k at my debts without a DRO would be pointless.0 -
What about a moped?0
