Thanks, got some yesterday on way home from work.

We all love Lurpak best, so I'm pleased this offer has returned. It seems to have the taste of home and childhood.

I got some last time to use in those £2 xmas cake kits.

The 2 for £2 offer wasn't on display at Tesco Potters Bar on Saturday.

Is this a limited offer or has it expired or does it just show when paying, I wonder.

Ask one of the shop assistants to scan the butter for you Roger as they may not have changed the prices on the shelf to the offer price.

Same in my store - I get really cross in Tesco at the way they don't highlight the stuff on offer. The Cravendale was not marked up as 3 for 2 either. I take my ipone round with me when I go and check all the offers!

Both the Cravendale and the Lurpak are on offer until 23rd.

Lurpak is on offer till 20/03/2012 as mentioned in my OP.

A couple of times I've had the same experience too, were the price on the shelf wasn't the offer price. Last time I remember this happing is when Mornflakes Superfast Oats were on offer. One of the store assistants said sometimes offers may just be online though this wasn't the case; someone else took the effort to check, came back and told me it was actually on offer in store as well. Makes you think doesn't it.

It does look like it may be the person responsible for putting the correct prices up on the shelf.

I’m not saying all Tesco’s store assistants aren’t helpful though some are more helpful than others.
