Like 60 degrees hot? I tend to wash most things on 40 to save the environment so will try 60. :D

    Happy belated birthday Zoe.:)

I wash most things on 40 too, or occasionally even 30 but I always do towels on 60 to kill the germs and ensure we don't get athlete's foot - ewww! I have a feeling I did new towels on 90! But 60 might well do it.

Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

  • I really shouldn't be posting here as I have just bought ten BS shower gels, but in my defence it is my favourite shower gel and I use it on my son too.

I am loving all the UUs on here at the moment. I've finished a Liza Earle energising shower gel this week, and a Herbal Essences conditioner. WBA for both, but need to get through my stash first.

I wonder if anyone on here can help me- I am looking for an amazing red lip gloss. I want something fairly sheer, but with a nice slick of colour too. I have dark hair and fair skin and should suit red lippy but I struggle to find the right shade. Happy to splash out a bit for a lovely one.

I have an IN to declare, I bought the Bare Minerals tsv as I have wanted to try the foundation for a while.

    I also have a few UU's

Philosophy gingerbreadman shower gel - WNBA I didn't really like the fragrance as it was very sweet.

LE energising body wash - WNBA it was ok but I have used nicer shower gels.

FE 3 day straight - WBA although I do have 3 others in my stash to use first

Clarins pure melt cleanser - WBA if it was on special offer but maybe not worth full price

spent yesterday packing up my dressing table ready for the move next week. I'm going to miss it but we just don't have room for it at my parents :(

i have an IN, my laura mercier portfolio has arrived :o i love it though! I've got all my "daytime" make up in it with the idea that if i'm using a more compact collection i'll use it up more quickly because it will get more use.

had some TA in the process:
Dior 5 coleur palette in brown - WBA but it was 3.5 years old now and was looking worse for wear.
2 bobbi brown eyeshadows - WBA, broke whilst i was depotting them into my UNII palette - gutted! although i already have repeats of those shades in another BB palette so not completely without.

No, have you? I really love Laura Geller cosmetics so tend to buy those from QVC. I also like Smashbox eyeliners and lipglosses that I was introduced to via the Q. I know people rave about Mally as well and I keep thinking I'll try something but haven't yet.
VALM - I'm a big LG fan too - can't get thro the day without my B&B. Just so frustrating that Q always tend to bo OOS of the 'fair' option. Have bought it on AD in the past, but they don't tend to offer that too often. Also drives me mad that they sell you a brush with it every time. I end up with several unused brushes in the draw. Rant over:D

I love Smashbox too - always bring a box full back home with me after my trips to the US. I'm quite glad that it's not on the high street, otherwise I could be in big trouble!!

I have bought a few Mally products in the past - quite good, but nothing too special. Or maybe I just have so much suff that I haven't given them a true 'roadtest'. The primer was pretty rubbish, much prefer LG or smashbox for that.

    Stay strong scrappie, stay strong.
So far so good. It was on first thing this morning, but Kathy was presenting - turned it off quick sharp, the sound of her voise irritates me no end. I have lots of 'computer' stuff to do today, so turning off the laptop and going upstairs to the 'big one', no TV, just the radio. Should be safe locked in the office for the morning.

On the plus side - I had three UU this am. My ABC shower gel came to an end - but was soon replaced by three more bottles! (I decant three regular size bottles into a 1l bottle to keep in the shower!)

Will be adding £3 to my pot for the UU this am and £10 for the fact that I did not buy the nails inc TSV and for the new CID TSV that I WILL NOT buy! All that cash is adding up for Vegas:T:T:T

Skinlite Self-Heating Massage Cream, 6.2gWNBA, not sure this stuff actually does anything but it is lovely on the skin when it warms up :D

I was doing so well and then...

    INS

Crabtree & Evelyn Sienna shower gel (225ml, from eBay but didn't need it and wish I hadn't caved in)
Balance Me Radiance oil (5ml rollerball, very cheap from eBay & possibly my HG facial oil)
Urban Decay 'Go' perfume oil (£1.56 inc P&P on eBay - v happy about this!)

    but also...(deep breath)

Decleor 15ml Expression De L'Age Relaxing Eye Cream
Decleor 50ml Aroma Purete Matt Finish Skin Fluid
Decleor Aromessence Rose D'Orient Soothing Serum (50ml)

Cheapsmells have a Decleor sale! The rose oil was 70% off (it's normally 15ml but this is 50ml for less than the cost of 15ml). Their neroli oil was one of the best things I've used but is usually way out of my budget. The other two buys are speculative. I'm happy to spend more on eye cream as I have fine lines under my eyes. I usually use a separate mattifying lotion and the reviews for the matt finish moisturiser are really good, so it might be really useful...

I'll be on the naughty step. (I'm taking this as proof that I buy toiletries when I'm stressed and upset :o)

Clarey008 - if you want to try Decleor now is a good time - the CheapSmells sale is up to 70% off. I love their facial oil (can be called serum) which is why I've splashed out on the rose one. I much prefer them to the balm versions - the oil applies better and lasts much longer. I don't like their cleansers - they smell gorgeous but aren't very effective.

    Late HAPPY BIRTHDAY! to Zoe

I also use the garnier 2 in 1 makeup remover but haven't actually tried another one (used to use wipes) so can't compare. I think it works pretty well without having to scrub mascara off and the bottle seems to last a long time.

I'm afraid I have been naughty and ordered 3 oils from perfume parlour. I do have a few bottles of the expensive stuff but if I used it everyday I couldn't afford to replace it. They weren't strictly needed as I do have half of a glamalot, snow fairy solid, green tea solid, BS lavender and some mini perfumes to use up first. Ooops:(

    happy belated birthday Zoe!
