I am back from my holidays had a great time but bcak to work tomorrow :( away to catch up with about two dozen pages!!
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time
  • Not been in here too much as been busy but still doing well on the no buying front thanks to thinking of this thread any time I WANT to buy. e.g. My foundation is nearing its death but I am refusing to buy a new one until it is A - totally done and B - I have retried a few of my ones I bought from Avon (and didnt like). Then I will head to get my new one :)

Still spluttering from my conditioner and face wash - i mean COME ON you silly items, just become empty please lol. Shouldn't be more than a few days before I can update my UU :)

Hope you are all still doing well with the challenge and enjoyed St Patricks day :D x

I had one of these huge sized bottles of Clean on Me from the Boots OOTW the year before last and I swear it lasted about 6 months. Very :money: but I can't bring myself to buy it again.

I too have way too many shower gels. x

I have that I think from when I first started with S&G about 3/4 years when they had Mother's Day boxes with the butter and shower gel for £4, :o I still have them in my stash and like you said lasted what felt like forever, kindof got bored with it.

  • Ins MF Fantasy Fire nail polish, can't wait to have a play with this!

Thayers rose toner, bought this as I haven't used a toner for years since I had a bad reaction to Clinique toner. I wanted one that was alcohol and nasties free and came across this on t'internet. It's got rave reviews and it's a huge bottle so hope I get on with it!

  • Have been offline for a bit. Things ended with my Essex boy (after 3 years) right before my birthday last week. Ho-hum, guess it could be worse, I could be drowning in new toiletries as gifts. :(

However, he nicely brought back all the thing that had been at his place. Not declaring the INs as I already had them, but sheesh, 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner, 1 leave-in conditioner, and 1 shower gel. And I was doing so well!!

    Onward and upward.

And actually, it probably isn't a bad thing, as morose as it sounds. It now frees me up immensely. Since arriving in the UK I've wanted to venture to the far north to go camping in the area of Ft William, Scotland. For many years prior to the UK I've enjoyed camping in Iceland, the Faroes and Norway, but somehow I seemed to stall once I arrived here (*cough, since someone didn't want to go camping, *cough)

As well, it releases me from living in Essex. I work from home, so I can be anywhere, and I was only staying here for him. I'd love to be next to the water, so at mimimum I can move seaside in Essex. Although really, since my work permit should be cleared in another week, the world is my oyster, I can go anywhere in the UK (that I can afford!). I should stay close to London though, in case I ever want to change jobs. What I do is computer-centric, so London is the most likely option...

Hope everyone is have a nice weekend in the meantime--and not spending!!

Boots Cucumber Face Wipes - WMBA - this is one of the last packs from a great glitch at Boots last year, I'd probably buy again if the deal was good enough :D

Sanctuary Body Butter 50ml GWP - WBA - really like this, soaks in well and smells great :D
