Just want to rant...

Okay. I'm fairly sharp with the money. I saved for years, worked on my career and with some luck and planning got my self a flat that I can afford and am enjoying living on my own. I have some 0% debts that I'm slowly working down, and a card for spending that I pay off each month (gives me cashback and extra 12 months guarantee on electrical goods - handy). Now, I had a bit of a tricky january and ended up nearly hitting my £1k overdraft limit. I reeled myself back in and at the end of this month I had less than £400 used of my overdraft and the first £260 of that is 0%). Now this month I was looking forward to maybe ending the month in the black but two days ago I got hit with a ground-rent and building insurance rent bill for £360. It's unavoidable and it's meant that instead of being able to pay off a healthy chunk of my debts and maybe have a bit of a treat I'm spending another month playing Mister Scrimpy McSavie-Pants. Pah!
Don't worry, I'm not looking for advice or even sympathy as I apprecaite that there are plenty of people on this forum who need help and support. I just wanted to say bums and have a bit of a rant!
Come July I'll have paid off my motorbike, my bicycle and I'll go up a pay point so I'll be getting an extra couple of hundred quid a month which will allow me to overpay my mortgage, save a bit more and bash the credit cards well before I have to stooze them onto another 0% deal. However, until then the MSE advice and guidance is helping me out no end!
