Making Reduced Payments for a While..

Hello
Hope someone can advise me further,Ive always kept things paid on time and up to date but with all the cuts being made in next few weeks until we can up our income i have 2 accounts that im going to have to try and ask the companies if i can make reduced payments for a while so we can survive..currently paying off accounts with Very & Next at around the £50 mark making the min payment and a little bit more each month..Ive worked out i can pay them £20 each a month until things improve. What are the companies like for doing this does anyone know & what would be the likelyhood of this being accepted?Ive been with the companies a long time and never defaulted before.Just feel incredibly embarassed by having to ask.:o
