Hi all,
We have been on our DMP for just over 2 years now and our paying £300 pm on 40k of debt,
We are going to have to reduce this to £150pm:mad: and was wondering if anyone else has had to do this before and if so were the creditors ok about it,
Thanks,
Max

It probably depends to some extent on your reasons for reducing the payments, but as long as they're valid (your kid is starting uni or your income has dropped) & not spurious (you're planning a trip to Disneyland!) they shouldn't have a problem. At the end of the day creditors are just glad that you're making the payments, even if they are reduced, because they know there's plenty of defaulters out there who've not even managed that.0
