My local offer is the beef mince. This comes up quite often but we rarely get the diced chicken which is what I could really do with

I usually make my own meatballs, as they're easy and cheap to do, certainly cheaper than the current offer on fresh ones in Lidl at the moment.

I've bought some Swedish meatballs though, and the Danish red hot dog sausages. They look weird but are very delish The salty liquorice sweets are weird, but if you feel so inclined, they work really well when made into shots :rotfl: Crush in a food bag, pour into vodka bottle, shake very so often until dissolved (might take a couple of days) then enjoy responsibly. Yummy

Rally disappoined. Just been to get mince & it was chops. Must remember to check website before I drive there.

My Lidl had a fantastic four offer this week on apples, bananas, bramleys and plums (I think).

More discounts would be good.

will check out lidl today to see if i can get the lean steak mince - a staple in this house and so expensive elsewhere!

Our offer was a turkey breast joint. Didn't for it. They were doing the lean mince for 2 for £4 which was a great price so I stocked up.
A lot of the on offer fruit and veg was out of stock by the time I got in today but I did get 2 punnets of pears, 2 packets of nappies, 2 500gm packs of lean mince, shower gel, ibuprofen, large pack of chedder cheese and 12 yoghurts for £17. I was more than happy with that.
