NRAM payment details

HI,

Sorry if this has been asked previously but I tried and failed to find any details.

I received a letter at the tail end of January giving details of a change to the NRAM sort code and account number details I use to pay my mortgage. It gave the following:

sort code: 60-95-83 and account num: 80092071.

I presumed this was authentic as my ref number was on it but my bank doesn't recognise the details and I fear I may have received a shoddy letter and possibly dodged a bullet as I would have transferred the funds had the bank recognised it.

Any info would be appreciated as I need to pay my morgage by COP tomorrow.

I don't know about the account numbers, but we are with NRAM, and received a letter last week saying that their systems are changing, and payments will be made directly to NRAM rather than via Northern Rock.

It looks genuine but when my bank didn't recognise the details I got worried. I'll try to ring them tomorrow and find out for sure.

By Internet Banking - Direct Credit payments should be sent to:

Account Number: 80092071
Sort Code: 60-95-83

The reference quoted should be your mortgage account number please make sure the reference quoted is in the correct format to ensure the payment is made to your mortgage account.

Hi all,

We recieved a letter saying to change the account number to 00000101 but later a letter saying payment not recieved and to change to 80092071 but both were on northern rock paper?!!!
