Cool - so I don't talk complete rubbish then :rotfl:
I wouldn't be so sure about that. As spike9 said, the comments in this thread are based on the rates the OP stated - whether they are right or wrong is somewhat academic - they are what the OP said they were offered.

Anyway, Nationwide's website here: http://www.nationwide.co.uk/mortgage/remortgage/pickadeal.htm#tracker very clearly shows the product rate as BBR+0.34%. I'm not sure where you are finding this BBR+0.24% rate. Unless you are wrongly reading the BBR-0.01% with £599 fee product (current rate 5.24%) as being BBR+0.24%. But that would suggest you didn't know what BBR was and I'm sure that can't be true.

The difference is 0.01% as the nationwide web site states 0.24% NOT 0.34 as stated in the OP. So this using your calcs is a £11 a year ish. In my experience I'd be happy to pay this £11 a year for the far superior level of customer service the nationwide provide and to be content that the rate they state can't be manipulated as the woolwich have done in the past.

If it is a new deal then it is + 0.24% http://www.nationwide.co.uk/mortgage/homebuyers/rates.htm

If it is a re-mortgage then it is + 0.34% As stated in the OP

If firey-dragon6666 can confirm he is a re-mortgagee rather than buying a new house or first time buyer then I'll get my coat.
If not then the nationwide is indeed just a few pound more, and it comes down to taking a view on whether you wish to pay a few pounds more for in my view better customer service and a company that is in it for it's members benefit as opposed to shareholders.

Only trying to help the guy for cripes sake !
