Problems with vodaphone debt

So I have received a letter from vodaphone to say that I owe them about 900 for a contract that was disconnected due to failure to pay in nov 2011.
I have contested this debt as I have been on PAYG for years till I got my current contract with orange for a bang tidy £15.00 a month.
I did have a contract with vodaphone way back in 2007 for a sim only contract thy I did not pay at address A.
They have sent the letter to address B which Is a po box address as it was a safehouse while I had a 6 mth stint in witness protection ( long story)!
The company that runs address B forwarded the letter to my current address And I have ignored the letter!
Last week I had a letter from capquest re this debt so I called them to ask them the details of the debt as I don't believe it's mine! While they had a correct name for me the dob was wrong and they said the debt was from a contract taken out by me from address B in October 2009!!! This is 18 months before I lived there??
They said it was a24 mth contract that expired in oct 2011 and the last payment that was made on the account was for 250 ish pounds in sept 2011 but the final month was not paid! When I asked for a breakdown o the 900 quid the woman said that 300 was final bill 280 disconnection fee and the rest was interest and charges made by vodaphone and capquest when they took on the debt!
I at no point admitted to this debt being mine but asked politely that they email me what they had said over the phone and hen I would prove from there on that it was not my debt! I also said twice that I would not pay it! The woman said then ( and I almost burst out laughing) that if he debt was not mine they would offer me a settlement of 623 pounds lolololololol.
Move forward to this weekend and I cam home on sat to 3 forwarded letters from scot call threatening doorstep action ( to a po box) a letter from hl legal solicitors saying the same thing and another letter from capquest! Now I'm totally confused who I take up this debt with! I had 4 months of perfect credit history and I don't want something lime ghis to send it back to square one again!!!
Please offer advice!!
I would like to send a prove it. But with them asking to show me exzacty where this debt has come from as I could not have taken out this debt at an address I was living in till 18 months after!
Thanks guys

Don't take a blind bit of notice of them. Your mistake was to speak to them, don't expect anything other than lies. just ignore them, they do nothing. I know. I did. This is all happening because you spoke to them so they think you are worried. Scotcall are the biggest trash out there don't even think about talking to them unless you get turned on by loud mouthed aggressive tw*ts.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0

Sugar plum,
Try having a read through the previous thread here.

My first thought would be make sure you notify by letter to the collectors to make sure that it is in dispute as they can't chase a dispute debt.
Good luck0 -
