Egg and Lloyds

Hi All,

I wonder if you could assist.

In my previous (spendaholic) life I had lots of credit cards, and managed to pay most of them off - however it would seem that I missed two (which are Egg and Lloyds TSB).

It was a number of years ago, and I can't remember exact dates of last payments - HOWEVER, my bank can't find any records of Direct Debits leaving my account in the last 7 years (NatWest have said they can only search 7 years worth).

I dont know what to do, as I don't want to contact Egg and Lloyds incase it's 2 days till they are statu barred etc.

The letters are from Collections Companies rather than from the banks themselves, nothing too drastic - just you owe us etc etc and we've found you on the electoral roll....

Any advice appreciated please?

Can you do a check on your credit file to see if they are listed. T=If there are no payments and no chasing for 7 years it may and a very bid may be statue barred
