I signed up to the free trial at Credit Expert to get my Experian report to check what was on it etc.
After the free trial it's £15 a month.
I'm guessing that since I've checked that everything is correct etc, I should get rid of the subscription and just get the occasional £2 reports through the post, or is there a good reason for holding on to the subscription once it becomes paid for? If so, what?

No good reason at all. Cancel and get cheap ones as and when you need (you can buy the £2 ones on line now rather than get through the post).
One possible reason some people may give is the credit expert alerts - they email you when a search is done on your file or a new credit account opened etc - if for any reason a person felt they were at particular risk of identity theft/someone opening accounts in their name.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
