I couldn't understand how the young fat bloke managed to eat all that food with ony 6 teeth. You could see he was having trouble with the "lunch" of a single salami sausage, but how does he manage to eat full breakfasts and toast etc. with so few teeth?

    :(

Exactly what I was wondering, how on earth he managed to munch that Haribo etc is beyond me!! :o

The amputation vs foot wound rate in type 2 diabetics in the US is incredibly high. I wonder if that's because they present later because they have to pay for their healthcare?

Again, how can portion sizes like that be affordable? If he can't wipe his own backside unassisted, how can he work for a liviing?

I find it quite motivational. Although I'm slim I'm a carb junkie and diabetes beckons :(.

Today's episode is horrible to watch. The skinny is quite clearly unwell, and the supersize is really suffering on a near-starvation diet. A high price to pay for something that started as a way of managing grief.

A happy ending for both :T.

.....and really have to work hard at resisting temptation sometimes.

OH hates these kind of programmes though. I have to record them, and watch them when he's not around. Soooo annoying.

I also love Biggest Loser, and A Year to Save My Life.

I think a lot of them give up on themselves, emotionally. With such low self esteem, they don't believe they can change, and sometimes even self sabotage as they don't feel worthy of being slim and healthy IYSWIM.

And that's even before you factor in other saboteurs (their feeders)!:eek::eek: They are the ones who get to me the most. It is NOT about loving them, it is about control, and fulfilling their own selfish need to be needed & wanted. Anyone seen that programme 'Half Ton Teen'? Shocking. His good work was constantly undermined by his own mother, under the guise of 'But I love him and just want him to be happy.'.

Yes the feeders do not help things but surely at the end of the day it is up to the fatties to say no and realise they are just too big.
