  • Ling posted a comment here (number 4) about her experiences on Dragons Den and some behind the scenes info - very interesting and shows you how much so called 'reality TV' is manipulated:

    thank you competitionscafe.

i read the blog line by line and learned a lot.

behind the crazy chinese chick funny image, there is an highly intelligent, hardworking and friendly person with good manners and great brain. with very little resources and all the limitation, she works hard to make the most of what she has. she deserves success.

i think she is a natural salesperson and entrepreneur with moral standards. the info in her website is honest and most automotive websites don't want us to know or cannot be bother.

what an inspiration person. suddenly think her business could be a great case study for business school in colleges/ universities.

No seriously, vellum's comments above are absolutely right and spot on the mark.

A tenner bet from Edna says that Ling will have her own TV show within 2 years! You read the prediction here first! ;)
  • what is Dragons Den?

    TV Show

Five multi-millionaire entrepreneurs who sit in judgement of people in business and looking for funding to expand their business in return for a % share of that business.

One of them being Duncan Bannatyne who lives near me. He started out in ice cream, bought a nursing home, ended up selling a chain of nursing homes for millions. Went into the Fitness business and owns god knows how many now. One in Darlington - Bannatyne Leisure. He bought the New Grange Hotel in Darlington, spent £10M on it and reopened it.

Good show - interesting to watch.
