Meeting with mortgage advisor 2pm Friday afternoon, got mortgage offer in the post this morning (Tuesday) - Barclays/Woolwich tracker.
Not quite the full picture, as the house (newbuild) had already been valued in a 'drive by' some months ago (for an application for a previous mortgage we didn't take out), but even so, can't knock'em!
Anyone beat that?

My best is under 4 hours
was particularly helpful as it was an application after pulling the plug on Nationwide who had messed me and my clients round for about 3 months!
I would consider yours a good speed, average is about a week to 10 days, acceptable within 3 weeks.
