can i cash my pension if i have only 6000 in it ??????

If one of these applies:
1. You are at least 60 years old and the total value of all of your pensions except the state pensions is no more than £18,500. You can do this for as many pensions as you like in the one year between doing the first and last and can never do it again after that.
2. You have just left a job that has a final salary pension scheme and were a member of it for less than two years.
3. A doctor has diagnosed you with a medical condition that indicates that you probably have less than a year to live.0 -
So I think that's probably a 'No' then.
Once you pay it into a pension it ceases to be your money, it is invested for your retirement.
Its not a savings account. Otherwise no one would end up having a pension at retirement.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
