Jsa and tax credits

Hi I would like some advice if Anyone can help

We went bankrupt on the 23 September2011 long hard road but we got there in the end great relief and feel better for it!!! Defnately the right decision for us, I didn't get a payment plan as my sole income was ESA and tax credits, my husband got a reduction in tax payment plan which will I presume end next month. My questions are
When I fill in my tax credits for the end of year my husbands wage is going to look slightly more as we have not paid any tax and instead made a payment to moon beaver for 103 every month do I deduct this to show how much we have actually had coming in ??
My second question is at the end of may my jsa will cease as I have been on it 6 mths and we won't qualify for income based as my husband works if I got a job that paid roughly what I got in benefits will I still not go on a payment order I need to earn at least what I got in benefits in order for us to survive That is if I can find a job?? I am also hoping to get on an access course for nursing will this affect anything? Any help would be appreciated thanks tb x

For tax credits I thought you supplied gross income anyway, so it wouldn't make any difference who your husband paid the tax to.

If you got a job then no doubt your expenses would go up a little, if you have no surplus now on an SOA for the OR then it's unlikely you would do with a job which just replaced lost benefit income. However, you would need to write out some sample SOAs for yourself to work out at what level of income you personally might then have over £20 pcm surplus. It won't affect your husband if he remains on benefits.

Studying won't affect your BR, if you want to find out how it would affect your benefits then it might be better to post on the Benefits board for their opinions.
