Hi all,
Just for info, I was discharged in July last year and my car insurance is due next month. I was concerned I would not be able to pay in instalments, anyway I got a quote from the co-op via the web and then phoned to see what would happen. I have to say they were fantastic, said the bankruptcy was not a problem but they will do a credit check with Experian:eek: I did say I would fail it in spectacular fashion! Which I duly did, she said not to worry we have a back up system and bingo got original competitive quote, with forty pounds off :j with a deposit and ten monthly payments. :T well done the co-op again.

Maybe due to me to wanting to pay in installments ? but some insurers are just not BR friendly whether you pay up front or not ?

Wagtail - are you sure you've never been credit checked for insurance? I see them on my credit file even when I only did quotes for insurance.
