I'm going to sort out OH's car insurance and am going to go through cashback for this- have got the cheapest quote already and found the best cashback too.
Now what i don't want to do is mess this upDoes OH need his own cashback account and make the purchase via that ? I've tried to find this on the help and can't
and OH has left his insurance to the last minute
Its fine if he needs his own cashback account i'll refer him anyway but any advice would be great
I don't see why you shouldn't be able to do it through yours.
My OH has his own now for things that you can only do once that we do twice! Silly ones such as free sim cards etc, that he has sent to his mums!
But most things we just use mine, and I've done his phone contract for example through mine - it doesn't really matter whose name the policy etc is in, just that you click through and make the purchase.

Do you find that the super(usually UN)lucky button is soooooooo slow??
Wouldn't be as bad if you could just click click click and do them all in 5 mins, but it's like click - wait, thinking about it, wait a bit more, 'checking', wait - Try again!!
Yep... I hate it! It does my head in! :rotfl: The most i ever win is 2 points... not so super after all in my opinion. But i guess its the same as everything thing else, what works for 1 doesn't work for anotherDedicatedDFW wrote: »hi everyone hope someone's on to help me

I'm sorry.... But i honestly have no idea... Just didn't wanna read and run incase you thought i was ignoring youI would have thought you could just use your cashback account, however to be on the safe side, it wouldn't hurt to open one in your husbands name. Hope you manage to find the answer

A shiny £1 roadkill.... Its been AGES since i had any roadkill!
Giving up on superpoints. Its just not really worth my time in my opinion, especially when i cant get any bites on the referal board. It moves to quick. Was gonna sign up for SB but i'm not gonna bother now. Think i'm probably signed up for too much anyway!
Its so odd how different we can feel about accounts isn't it? i am now cashing out with superpoints on average every 4 days - almost down to 3 - once i get to that i will be earning just over £30 a month from 10 mins clicking a day. I would love to get to 500 points a day and make £90 a month - how cool
With swagbucks i am earning about £40 - £45 a month in vouchers so would be a little bit less in paypal but i just couldn't imagine being able to earn this £75 a month on other accounts so easily! Obviously ebay can bring this in but i hate all the nonsense on there and the fees and grumps :rotfl: to me the short time clicking is well worth the absence of all the restDebt at Aug 2010 (LBM) £21,908.86, Debt Freeeeee Date 4th Nov 2013 :j:j:j Massive Thanks to the £10 per day thread :A Next goals:Savings £1203.16/£10,000******Mortgage to Zero: £52,579.46 to go

Turns out i've a bit of time and can do it tomorrow and not 'right now' as was initially thought *phew*
Unless i get more input think i'll put it through my cashback account as i'll be the one chasing it all anyways if it doesn't track

HI DDFW put it through your cashback account, no problems with that. But yes, make sure you clear cookies, before you click through again tomorrow.0 -

I think it depends on the cashback site - TCB is fine to use either way - you can use it for friends purchases as long as its within the genuine use policy - Quidco though you can't purchase on the behalf of others its outlined here: http://www.topcashback.co.uk/quidco
Hope that helpsDebt at Aug 2010 (LBM) £21,908.86, Debt Freeeeee Date 4th Nov 2013 :j:j:j Massive Thanks to the £10 per day thread :A Next goals:Savings £1203.16/£10,000******Mortgage to Zero: £52,579.46 to go

CP, do you get the superpoints emails? Even the ones with 1point help. They all add up.
I have been fortunate enough to win 25 points once. Sometimes I find if I keep clicking I win a lot in one go. If I stop and come back later, I don't get anything.0 -

You star :A
I hadn't seen this, but when I read this post I had a nosey about and found the thread on the rabbit board. Thank you so so much!
I too bought batteries, so although not very exciting, was something that I was meant to buy today when I was out but totally forgot. We needed some big batteries for the babies swing (until a few days when we've got some Amazon vouchers again to buy some rechargeable ones with a charger as we are getting through them super quick with this all singing all dancing swing), they were 4.99 free P&P so totally free, and needed to stock up on AAs as used the last ones the other day, and we always need them in for toys etc, so we used OHs account and paid £1.39 for 24 batteries :j:j
Anyone who hasn't seen it yet - Ebay/paypal are giving 50,000 £5 vouchers. Only valid on actual item price, not p&p, (both my items were free p&p anyway) and has to be used all in one go. One voucher per Paypal account. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3835535

Thanks everyone
Right i was going to do it through quidco but as i can't and they pay the most can i request the higher payout on TCB and if so how? I know everyone was chatting about this a few days agoI;m one of those people who need to do something to remember it though so thought i'd ask when the time arose - didn't think it's be so fast mind so apologise
Really hope this works out - can't wait to see OH's reaction when the cashback pays outCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000
