Catherine, my DS is going through huge growth spurt. His feet grew a whole size, but he wouldn't tell me he needed new shoes. Thought it was time I got him measured and yep, needed new shoes.

He liked his new shoes at the time, chose them out of the limited range, he has big feet! NOW refuses to wear them as he doesn't like them and keeps putting his old ones back on!

Anyhow, have you checked Freecycle/Freegle/Netmums (noticeboard, nearly new) in your area? People give away clothes their kids have grown out of, sometimes brand new! And netmums you can buy cheaply.

Sorry to hear about your Dad, hugs.

Thanks. I have looked but as he is 6-7 no one ever seems to have any to hand - down / sell on I figure it is the age of football, scuffed shoes and ripped knees! I will use the tax credits before they stop in April to replace the shoes etc and hope for an ebay miracle! I have a few coats and evening gowns etc I can sell on to make some extra clothes money...failing that I could always 'Von-trapp' the Sitting Room curtains and make the boys matching Lederhosen like in the Sound of Music :rotfl:

oh don't you just reminded me... I watched superscrimpers tonight, some good tips in there, and they took a pair of men's pin stripe trousers and made them into a dress, this was during the war. It looked really good, but I can't sew for toffee!

    Hello All,

Hugs to you and your Dad, Catherine -- I'll keep fingers crossed that you get plenty of bidding wars to raise the cash you need.

Another sleep disturbed night here, so dabbling in free bingo and just withdrew a profit of £14.80 from Sing Bingo. (Should be writing or listing but I'm way too tired for either).

    Hi MissKaytee,

With roboform you choose which passwords you want it to save, but you can also password protect all your passwords, so no one can see them ;)

I am loving the PayPal card makes life easier. It comes straight out of PayPal, you cant request it, they offer it to you.

Thanks for posting the positive steps linky! Have signed up this morning :D

I'm also a member of the "secret group", lol.... ;)

Right...money making! £20 amazon vouchers to add from ipsos :D, down to 300 points again so i hope i get some surveys along soon!

I've had a bit of trouble with the new touchpoints survey i'm doing for ipsos on my phone, so they are going to be giving me £40 amazon instead of £35 for inconvience, which is good of them. I MIGHT get that through in time for this month. Hope so! Also agreed to run another program on my phone for a month for £10, but that won't be through till next month.

No more auctions ending till Thursday so nothing to be made on ebay.

Ohh... just remembered.... I nice shiny £2 coin i found yesterday which the sofa had eaten from DH's jeans :rotfl: Mine now! :D

Right.... off to update my £22 :D Have a nice day everyone

I have lost my way where this thread is concerned, I have become very complacent, I have found a method to reach target and have stuck to it, knowing full well I could have been earning more, hopefully off to Florida next month, so gonna try and make that bit extra
