£22.21 bids on Ebay :) Not too bad as again just from a handful of odd bits and bobs of baby clothes that I'm trying to sell before taking them to a bootfair where I'll probably only get 20p an item!!
Did also include an old skirt of mine though which had a bit of a bidding war at the end with 12 bids in the last minute or so :j
Pleased with this as just over £20 sounds much better than about a tenner!!

Must get them packed first thing and get to the Post Office tomorrow rather than putting it off.

Still no money in for me today :( i think the recorded delivery postage costs are putting people off my ebay stuff! I usually don't use recorded but as i had 10 non receipt claims when i did post them off and could provide proof as well i decided to start using it! Might have to rethink that bit.....not sure!!

Just had a thought too for all you bingo madders - if you don't want to risk any money at all there is the option to use woohoo where you collect stars - 100 gold stars can be cashed in for £5 deposit on Crown Bingo (or you can save for other gifts on woohoo as well). It can take a while to get stars, but like most other things if you can have in on in the background while doing something else its just a few clicks as you work through a survey or something :D

Right off to add a few books to amazon - i really must do something useful today :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Just added 3 books to my amazon account, but some i have are being sold for 1p??? how would that work, does anyone know? These are not little books that would cost less postage than being charged! hmmmm guess i am going to have to put them on ebay instead!!

I worked out once the minimum price it was worth putting books on Amazon for, and I can't remember how much it was, possibly 60 something pence - might be totally wrong, I really can't remember!
I was working it out with CDs at the time when deciding what to send to Music Magpie and which to keep on Amazon (which I never did get around to doing - have printed the labels about 4 times but never got around to boxing up and sending off :rotfl:).
Would have to look at their (RIDICULOUSLY HIGH!!) fees again to work it out.

Sellers that sell for 1p must be registered as businesses on there or something, who I assume must have different fees otherwise no one would do it.

Currently lurking around MSE avoiding facing the fact that I have 9 ebay parcels to pack up, label and get posted. Not a huge amount to do but struggling to find my "motivation button" this morning.

Not sure what I will be adding from the above, but will work it out later this evening. Have spent some of my "extra" money earned this month already. DS is 4 next week and he adores Mickey Mouse and really wants the clubhouse and figures and for what they are they are stupidly expensive. If anyone comes across Mickey figures or playsets at carboots etc buy them and get them on ebay!! (6 x 3 inch little none moveable figures have been selling for at least £18 plus, Mickey in his car (not that big) £15 plus etc etc).

I've just refunded 2 ebayers, I hate doing it but I just couldnt let 2 new, sealed items that are worth £10+ each go for 99p. I know I would get more for them at a boot fair. I hate sellers like that, but if I could get only £3 for each of the items then I'd be happy. Rubbish.

Nothing in my account this morning, nothing for the last few days either. I have had a few NSD though :D

So glad to see you back Misskaytee, I was going to ask around for you last week but forgot :o Hope your well xx

  • BlueCow do you have a B&M in your area? I know it can be hit & miss what they have in but I got my youngest quite a lot of Mickey's Clubhouse stuff from there for Xmas, much cheaper than I saw it anywhere else Xx
