Just filling in the questionaire now, dependants are children, right? Take it I dont list my partner under dependants.

Also on the SOA, should I be putting just my income and outgoings on it, or my partners too? And as I am currently paying all my money to the bills, will I put that as my outgoings, some weeks Ive had to rely on credit cards for food (online shops at tesco and asdas) or cash at the supermarket on credit cards.

Your income and your share of the outgoings is what goes on your SOA.

So if you earn 60% of the household income you put down 60% of the household outgoings.

If you don't declare what your partner earns when asked then the OR will assume that you pay the bills 50-50, if you do put declare your partners earnings then the bills can be split according to income.

  • CAB phoned me back today, they received the forms back and said my only real options were to offer my creditors token payments or bankruptcy. I opted for the Bankruptcy option and she made an appointment to come in to fill out the forms for bankruptcy on the 12 April.

    The charge is only £100.

I have a credit card payment of £150 due off tomorrow, which is pretty much 75 percent of my income (JSA) what should I do about this in the meantime? Would you pay it or not? or pay a token payment?

Yes, the fee is £100 to go BR in Scotland but this is paid to AiB rather than CAB. If it was me and I knew I was going BR then I wouldn't pay the CC payment.
If everything is straightforward then your BR is likely to be awarded a week or so after they receive your forms.

They'll probably keep hounding you whether you pay a token payment or not. In all honesty, can you really afford to make any kind of payment to your creditors?
I know that shortly before I went BR offering to make a token payment wasn't accepted so I just stopped answering the phone until I went BR.
