i was first with hone serve and now taken over by a new company warranty last year was £28 now £48 anyone know any companies which offer this service at a good price

I am sure newish Dyson are 5 years guarantee now. If yours isn't might be worth getting in touch with dyson. I know years ago you had at least 2 years and they replaced motor on one dyson I ad well over 2 years old for free

You can get a Dyson serviced for £20, not sure about the cost of repairs, but I have always found my Dyson to be rather dependable. A quick Google came up with, among other things,

I have had my Dyson since January 2000 and it is still going strong. Admittedly the on/off button does not always work, but that is nothing that can't be fixed with the on/off switch at the plug point!
