Use instore Boots vouchers on online orders

Hi all, not sure if this classes as a grabbit but last week I made an order with Boots online site through their store (as this is the only way to use their gift vouchers online). While there I used a £5 off £20 spend voucher I had been sent through the parenting club and a 200 extra points voucher I printed from the advantage card point. Both stated instore use only but were accepted against my online order as I was making it instore if that makes sense.
Also free delivery to store with a £20 spend and free home delivery on £40 spend.
Worked out great for me as with their current 3 for 2 offer I got 6 items which should have cost nearly £40 for just over £20.

May I ask how you used them? Were there online codes on the vouchers?0

If an item isn't instore you can place a order from their system instore, however it's not the same as placing an online order at all, I had a giftcard I wanted to use for a pushchair, went instore to order it and they said they couldn't find it on their system as the store system does not have the same stock as the website. Bare in mind that
Think of it more as buying instore/ordering in for home delivery/collection rather than ordering online, and you are limited to what the store can stock rather than the full range online.Comping wishlist for 2017

I tried to do that last week, but it was a waste of time. Had the 200 extra points voucher and wanted to use it, but it's only in store. Placed an online order for baby stuff at my local boots, and gave them the voucher which worked. However, I was supposed to get 400 points from my order, as I'm a parenting club member, but I got no points at all. I rang customer service, and they said they could only credit me with the difference in points to bring them up to 400. I ended up getting the same points i would have done had I orderd from the comfort of my own home as usual.
I think it's only useful to do this only if you have money off voucher rather than extra points one because it might not work with other bonus points.Love saving, but not sure I'm doing it right!0 -

I must have struck lucky then cos all the 9 items I've ordered over the last fortnight have all been in stock. Did they definitely use the correct system as I placed my order yesterday with the online product codes?0 -

I used this voucher too so I'll check my advantage card and make sure the points definitely went on!0
