I'm a seasoned comper but this is the first time this has happened to me...
I had a WTC last year saying I'd won event tickets which would be sent to my house. 3 weeks before the event, I contacted them again asking when the tickets were coming as I was about to shell out a few hundred pounds travelling about 500 miles plus a hotel room. I had no reply (and yes, I check my junk folders several times a day).
I then phoned the venue to check I wasn't on a guestlist or if they had tickets there for me to collect...they said I didn't. Still no reply from the promoter and the event has been and gone.
I've just complained to the IPM but was wondering what they're able to do in cases like this one....the promoter is a big one (but not AEG or Live Nation).

They could be asked to offer you tickets to another event or some such compensation. Hope you get a result.SECRET TO WINNING PRIZES

Fingers crossed the IPM can sort this one out for you (I havn't personally had any dealings with them myself but from what I have read on this forum so far there is a fair chance of it being dealt with).
Good Luck!
I smile because I have absolutely no idea what's going on:dance:0
