Hope the install goes well, and you enjoy the new toy!
20 panels sounds like somewhere in the 3.8 to 4kWp range? Great price at this stage in the game, especially if you get the 43p tariff. You'll have it paid off in no time.
Best of luck.
Mart.Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 28kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

Yes, unless the customer specified that time was of the essence, and that a pre-cut off date installation / certification was part of the contract.

Sheesh, lucky it's a leap year!
I don't know the ins and outs, but isn't it you who has to register with a fit provider (basically makes sense if it's your electricity supplier)? I think you'll have to get the correctly completed form delivered before the dealine (not sure if that is midnight 2nd or the third - anyone know?).
Anyhow, I expect you can download the fit applictaion form from your supplier's website and see how many questions you can currently answer. I had to find out my latitude and longitude (easily done) - presumable to save them writing a bit of code to get it from the postcode. If it comes off and you get the 44p rate, then your return will probably be higher than anyone else's. (Perhaps everytime you see a post with an owl meter reading 3.8kW (while screwing up the page format), you could reply each time with 'that's fine, but what's your return on capital?.0
