BP Car Wash Voucher- forget it!

This is a waste of time and money. I've made 7 trips to my local BP sites - 6 miles away. On 4 occasions There was a queue of over 40 minutes -even on a midweek day- and on 2 the car wash was broken. When I finally found one that was open and working it had no chemicals, but I was told I was welcome to use it anyway! So Iv'e spent probably £6 or more on diesel and got nowhere. I use to use the BP car washes but they were always breaking down. So well done, BP, you've actually worsened my opinion of you as a result. I won't be going anywhere near your sites in future. And Martin, may I suggest you qualify these offers a bit more carefully, otherwise I won't be trying any of your other ones either!

I on the other hand had a positive experience. There are no BP carwashes near us in York so used one near Coventry on our way down the M1, 3 cars in queue so had our lunch and flask of tea whilst waiting. £6 wash for 50p - can't go wrong. Then back on the road again. Most annoying thing is there are no BP garages participating up north. Will be doing the same again on Friday when going south. Fits in with filling up at Morrisons which is cheapest for fuel as well. So well done Martin from me.0

how would you suggest they stop others using the car wash when you want to use it?0 -
I haven't been able to find a BP in south Birmingham that will accept the vouchers. I tried the last 2 times the vouchers were offered. Anybody know of any??0

Have you tried the BP Station on Watery Lane, near Landor Street?
They might be able to help. HTH.0 -

Not everyone experiences the same as I've been printing off these vouchers each time the offer comes up and giving them to my sister. We have a BP garage over the other side of town who have a car wash and honour the vouchers no problem. Also there never seems to be a queue, possibly just one in front, if at all. My sister is very pleased with the service she receives. By the way, anyone wishing to make use of their vouchers, they do expire today, 5 March 2012.
So, yes Martin, please keep up these BP offers when they arise as many of us are very grateful to be kept informed as we would not be aware of them otherwise. I'm sure Martin and his team won't lose any sleep over the fact that someone threatens not to try any other offers! They are there for the taking or not, it's up to yourself. Some offers will suit some people but will not suit others. The MSE site is the most amazing site on the web for helping people to save money. Again that statement is in my opinion but will not be the opinion of everyone viewing the site lol. Thanks to Martin and his team and all the forumites who list offers to help others. Very much appreciated!! :T"For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone."0 -

I was just searching the site to see if there were any new offers and came across your post.
For future reference, the BP in Cotteridge accepts the vouchers. The BP website also lists those sites that take them.
Also, if you print off a couple you can buy more than one code at a time as they last for a week. My partner often does that and can then drive straight in should she see the car wash is empty when driving past.0
