I didn't get the job. The feedback was that I did not do anything wrong. They were overwhelmed with applicants and only put 3 through out of 126 with more experience in the trade which they were not expecting apparently such a huge response. I think they only interviewed half that if that. I got a voice message which was kind and I phoned back to say Thank you.

Same old story these days really but at least they let you know, most do if you get an interview just not it the time scale you'd like

Would you believe I have just got a rejection letter today for an interview I attended at the start of January, you have to wonder what was the point in that? And you know the best bit? They relisted the job yesterday, I would apply again but its been on 4 times in the past 6 months so obviously some reason they can't keep there staff.

I went for second interview 4 weeks today, it went well but then I heard nothing. Thought I hadn't got the job. But today I just got offered the job now after a month - I'm so happy I really thought I hadn't got it and had given up hoping!

Thank you. I'm so happy right now! There was apparently a problem getting some forms signed (due to holidays, busy people etc) which was why there was such a delay in the offer being made.

Wait!!! Since when do interviewers select 3 people out of 126?

Do you mean 126 applied then they chose the top 15 to interview then they selected the top 3 for a second interview before selecting the one person they want for the role?
It's better to regret something I did do than to regret something that I didn’t. :EasterBun
