Does settled on a credit report mean the account is closed? there is a few items on my report off a few years back which are paid up to date but i cant remember if i closed them - they show settled in green and date updated as june 06, does this mean there closed?

Hi
If its shows settled then yes thats basically the same as closed. Those will drop from your file 6years after the settled date (or date last updated).
What is showing from 2003? If its account history in 2003 for an account that was settled in 2006 that would be correct.
Accounts drop off 6years from the date they were settled or the date they were defaulted (if they have defaults).A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
