Contractual maternity pay

Hi
Asked my line manager about Maternity leave/pay etc, she said that the company goes by the government guidelines and she'd get me a copy. I'm still waiting for them!!! Was wondering if anyone can help me find them. I have been on the government website but it would be better being in a forgein language because I can't make head nor tail of it.
I really want to know what the government say about contractual maternity pay? Do I have to have been with the company a certain length of time before Iam entitled to CMP rather than SMP?

Any advice much appreciated

TIA
Scruffy :p

Your miwife should be able to give you details of who can help, they're not just there to provide medical advice. I do know that if you child is born after April 1st 2007 there is now a longer period of entitlement open to you. Check out this link, it would appear CMP is more than likely to be at FULL pay as opposed to SMP which is MUCH lower and reduces throughout your pregnancy.
