Hi
After reading most of the threads on here thought you may help me.
oh and myself had a joint loan with the RBS, and of course other debts but my corncern is the loan from RBS here is the story.
oh took ill back in 2009 now he's got dylated cardionyopathy but still able to work. but when he was ill he didn't work and didn't get paid i went straight to CCCS and have been with them since. glad to say that all the crediotrs stopped the interst and charges straight away. we have 3 ccj's but are manging these one being the RBS who's taken a judgement out on myself and oh the loan was for 7000.
i pay Incasso £85 on the 7000 loan and oh pays shakespeare putsman £85 on £7000 loan to me that is £14000 they want back and the loan was for £7000. just wondering will this stop after we have both payed £3500 or will they go for the lot.
hope this makes sense
I spoke to Incasso and they say that is what i owe and oh spoke to S&P and they say that is what he owes. i spoke to RBS and they say they don't have the figures (now your confused because we are) just thought some one may have some advise sorry for the rant

Hi massey,
I'd have thought the best thing to do was for you and your OH to request statements from Incasso and Shakespeare putsman to establish the opening balance on each account. I have never dealt with a joint debt repayment etc and definitely not to 2 different companies, although I would be surprised if each company are only asking for £3500 from each of you, but of course could be wrong. I've never heard of Incasso and Shakespeare putsman, but would guess they are debt collection agencies who RBS have sold the debt onto. No apology necessary as it wasn't a rant and the board is here to help and advise etc. I'm sorry I can't be more definate, but hope someone with much more knowledge than me will be along soon. Many other members will have better advice/knowledge than me though and I hope you get sorted soon.
Good luck

Hi
Agree with red to request statements from both creditors.
Have you got a copy of the judgement? if not then you need to get one. Presumably the judgement was obtained by RBS?
If its a single judgement with you both named as debtors then I would think that RBS were not allowed to have 2 debt collectors collecting, have you spoken to CCCS for advice on this? what have they said?A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
