Not sure what to do :s

Hey guys,

Im new to comping, but already loving it! I won a prize about a month ago of one rare london dress for 6 months.

I won it on behalf of News international round about a month ago and in the email it states they will contact me within 28 days and they haven't yet

Does anyone know about that company and what i should do?

Welcome to the forum! I'm a little bit confused by your message... Are you saying you havn't recieved your prize yet although your WEM (winning email) was sent a month ago?

If thats the case, winning prizes in my experience can be a little frustrating, and a little patience and perserverance can help! My general rule of thumb that i stick to is to give companies 1 month to deliver the prize from time of contact (unless they state any different in their email or T&C's).

I would suggest if they have gone over gone over the time limit they have stated to contact you to arrange delivery, a gentle polite reminder would be the next step. So I would reply to the email and ask them if they have managed to send out the prize yet/advise them you have not been contacted yet and attach your original email to them so they have it to hand for reference.

Hope that helps, I've never won anything from News International, but as they are a large company am sure they are reputable when it comes to competitions and prizes. But I do find it strange that you have won a dress for 6 months.. then what - do you have to give it back or have I completely misinterpreted your original post?

I would reply to the email politely explaining you haven't heard from them or received your prize and whether they could look into it for you. Sometimes companies need a nudge and then the prize is sent. HTHs
