A Roberts radio which I had no idea that I'd won. I also had a £100 Waterstones voucher just turn up via Courier, which was a fab surpise! :)

I love the ones that just turn up unexpectedly - they are my favourite type of win I think!

it was last Christmas i won a Xbox package worth £400,that's not the suprise,i knew i had won this in a daily mirror instant win and was waiting for it to arrive.I had a card left by the postman saying they had left a parcel next door,i went round to pick it up, i thought this does not look the right shape for an xbox.It was not i'd won a netbook in the same daily mirror instant that was running all of December. Then after Christmas a blackberry mobile phone turned up from the some competition.I still can't believe i won 3 times in the same competition.

Mine was a dull Monday (never seem to get much good comping news on a monday!) and after 5pm a knock at the door, was a courier who had come up from London (we are in Norfolk) with a box for me not overally large.

Well suddenly Mondays were looking a bit more exciting, opened it up, no comp slip, no nothing but in the box was a blackberry phone! Not just any old balckberry though a limited edition, one of 10 in this colour by Bill Amberg, only for sale at Selfridges in London - and was worth a massive £1000!!! And to make matter even better - I couldn't jsutify a phone of this value, and I contacted Selfridges, explained I had won it - adn they allowed me to take it back and said they would give me a credit note for it, but better still got there, and selfridges did the exchange and asked if I wanted cash or a giftcard - so £1000 in hard cash, their customer service was simply terrific. The win was from Elle magazine, to this day still no notification.

Moral of the story, never write a Monday off!

A couple of years ago a large envelope turned up, and thinking it was junk mail, almost threw it in the bin.

Decided to have a quick look at the brochure inside and a quick peruse of the letter included.

It congratulated me on winning £1000 to spend on a cooker from Comet.

Had a great time buying the cooker, and wondered whether if I had binned the letter unread, would I have missed out on the prize.

Don't bin mail without checking first!

    Good luck
