    I actually earn 40k a year including bonus but my basic is 30-35k is that a problem ? sorry if i was offending anyone

    You haven't offended anyone. I was just pointing out that on 1 thread your salary was x amount and another thread it was a different amount.

    Now you say your basic pay is 30 to 35k it might mean things would be different if you were on 40k but im not an expert.

    no you have not but think about it a bit the house must be unmorgageable to need that amount of work. if not then judge if the spending of a 100k will improve the houses value by that amount. the thing with your dad sounds complicated br careful.
