Need cheap tea cups

I am looking for dirt cheap tea cups but the only ones I have seen are about 3 quid each and higher. You can't move for coffee cups and most can be bought for a quid or even less but the same cannot be said for tea cups? Why?
Maybe we as a nation want to be more like americans and want to ape them by going the coffee mug way. It's bad enough we have to put up with proms, trick or treat and 'snickers'!
Anyway enough of the rant, cheap tea cups - do they exist?

Thanks guys. The tesco cups looks to be the best value and I may go for them.
I still can't see why coffee cups are generally cheaper tea cups.0
