Feeling Ripped Off - catalogue charges means DMP debt has not reduced

This is the same situation as the credit cards trying to impose late payment charges, deemed a penalty = unlawful. Remove all charges from the account and offer them what remains- take it or leave it. In view of the amounts involved I will bet you a fiver they will take it rather than risk trying to enforce it and coming unstuck. Sometimes if saying please gets you nowhere you need to play them at their own game and act tough. YOU tell THEM what you are prepared to pay and why- their arbitrary charges won't be upheld IMHO.0
