    Hi

I don't know anything about tablets running windows 7. So what I am about to say may not be of interest to you. What I can say is that after a lot of research into tablets I bought my 16YO DS an Asus Eeepad Transformer for Christmas. The favourable reviews of this is what swung it for me and tbh it lives up to them. It is comparable to an ipad except it has some fundamental differences - it has a USB port, it has a detachable keyboard (which doubles as a docking system), it has slot for a memory card which can double the 16GBhD to 32GB easily (bought the card on line for £10) and it also has a Microsoft Office compatible program called Polaris which incorporates word processing, spreadsheet etc. I have an ipad and these things make the ASUS much superior to it imo. Also the graphics are excellent and battery life is incredible. It is not cheap however - I paid £400 on Amazon and found it very hard to get my hands on one. A new version is due out soon though (prime I think it is called) so the previous version may be available cheaper.

Sorry this doesn't directly answer your question about windows 7 tablets but thought it might give you another option.:)
