Debate House Prices

    They've been stagnating for years now, so it's not worth arguing about.

    Your stagnating is everyone else's falling. I suppose if you compare 2004 prices to 2012 then yes prices are stagnating. Before 2004 then rising and any year after 2004 falling.

    I would like a 3 index fall but there is always one that bucks the trend till the following month. The one with a slight rise I also predict that all the bulls will latch on as evidence that prices will boom. So I am going to say 2 down one up.

    According to land registry the average house price is just above the Jan 2006 price and just below what it was 2 years ago.
